Sunshine Coast Cladding is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and continually improve user experience for everyone.

Our commitment

We design and build our website with accessibility in mind, including:

  • Logical page structure and clear headings

  • Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images

  • Sufficient colour contrast and readable font sizes

  • Keyboard-navigable menus and forms

  • Descriptive link text and visible focus states

  • Labels and instructions on form fields

  • Avoiding content that flashes or auto-plays

 

Measures we take

  • Use of an accessible theme and components within Wix

  • Manual checks during updates (keyboard only, zoom to 200%, screen-reader spot checks)

  • Periodic automated testing (e.g., Lighthouse/WAVE)

  • Staff awareness and content editing practices that support accessibility

 

Conformance status

Our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. At present the site is partially conformant—some third-party content or older files may not fully meet the standard. We are working to resolve any issues as we identify them.

 

Compatibility & supported browsers

The site is designed to work with modern browsers and assistive technologies, including:

  • Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox (last two major versions)

  • Mobile browsers on iOS and Android

  • Screen readers (e.g., NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation

 

Technical limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may have limitations:

  • Third-party embeds (e.g., maps, social media) may not be fully accessible.

  • PDFs or documents provided by third parties may not meet AA criteria.

  • Legacy images may be missing alt text; we are updating these progressively.
